About Michele
Michele Pan is Evermore’s Chief Investment Officer and serves as portfolio manager overseeing the design and implementation of client investment strategies and the development of proprietary investment models.
Michele joined Evermore in 2023 and has over 18 years of experience across global financial markets. Prior to joining Evermore, Michele worked for more than a decade as a portfolio manager and investment analyst at Periscope Capital, a hedge fund specializing in alternative investment and arbitrage strategies. During her tenure, Michele oversaw a multi-strategy investment program that grew to over US$1.3 billion in assets under management for institutional investors and family offices.
Michele has extensive capital markets experience, holding various positions within National Bank Financial’s Institutional Equities Division, including as a hedge fund trading strategist and as an arbitrage trader in the equity derivatives group. Michele started her career in 2000 as an investment banker in the communications, media and telecom group at Goldman Sachs.
Michele holds an Honours B.A. from the University of Western Ontario and is a CFA charterholder.
